Patriarchal logics of sexual harassment against non-male bodies in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico.

Abstract

The objective of the article is to know the findings of the investigation that bears the name: the symbolic construction of the neopatriarchal urban space: the interstitial spatiality as a dispositive inclusion-exclusion in the phenomenon of sexual harassment, which was carried out in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua, Mexico. Mexico. Special attention is paid to the harassment suffered, spaces where it was suffered, sensations of security and insecurity in different spatiality’s and feelings in different spatiality’s, from urban sociology. The methodology is qualitative with the tools of in-depth interviews and participatory mapping. The conclusions are aimed at describing the contexts of sexual violence in particular.

Licenciado en Psicología por la UACJ (Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez), Maestro en Acción Pública y Desarrollo Social por el COLEF (El Colegio de la Frontera Norte) y Doctor en Estudios Urbanos por la UACJ (Universidad Autónoma de Ciudad Juárez). Miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores nivel Candidato 2023-2026. Adscrito al Tecnológico de Monterrey en modalidad Posdoctoral, miembro del grupo Desarrollo Territorial Sostenible en la línea de investigación de equidad y justicia espacial.
