Revista de Filosofía is an academic journal of philosophy addressed to philosophical scholars and students. It publishes original research articles by Chilean and foreign authors. The journal is interested in all areas of philosophy and open to every philosophical current without discriminating against any of them. Occasionally, it dedicates an issue to a distinguished philosopher or to a memorable philosophical book. Every issue includes a section of book reviews and critical studies about recent philosophical works in Spanish or other languages.

El comité editorial busca asegurar la calidad, relevancia y rigor académico de los contenidos publicados en la Revista de Filosofía. Entre sus funciones se encuentra observar si los artículos recibidos son adecuados para la Revista de Filosofía en términos de calidad académica, originalidad y relevancia temática; recomendar revisores expertos en los temas específicos de cada artículo, asegurando el cumplimiento de la imparcialidad del proceso de evaluación doble ciega; colaborar con la divulgación del contenido académico generado por la Revista de Filosofía en diferentes comunidades académicas.
